De nieuwe versie 2 upgrade breidt de SPD-30 uit met extra kits en interessante features en functies. De Octapad van Roland lag aan de basis van een heuse elektronische percussierevolutie. Nauwelijks groter dan een attachécase, zorgde de Octapad er immers voor dat drummers en percussionisten in de pret van de elektronische muziekinstrumenten konden delen en navenant creatiever tewerk konden gaan. Dat was notabene een aantal decennia geleden… Hoogste tijd dus voor een vervolg op de Octapad. De SPD-30 combineert de vaakst benodigde klanken met onze nieuwe triggertechnologie en is zo stevig gebouwd dat hij het leven “on the road” moeiteloos aankan.
