07-03-23
The new Pioneer DJ Opus-Quad is an all-in-one DJ system that includes features such as independent playback on 4 decks. That means you can play 4 songs simultaneously on 4 different decks, prepare the songs in advance or keep one deck free to plug request songs right into your set.
The device features several media sources. In total, the Opus Quad features 4 USB ports: 1 x USB Type C, 1 x USB Type A (3.2) at the back for a quick connection to an SSD drive or similar device and 2 x USB Type A on the top panel. You can also connect your mobile device via Bluetooth.
The advanced effects on the OPUS-QUAD make it easy to add texture your sound can personalize with Beat FX. With the XY-Pad you smoothly control functions such as FX Bank and effortlessly select the desired channel. In fact, you can control Beat FX parameters and the filter's cutoff frequency by making adjustments on the X and Y axes, respectively, with your finger to mix effects. The popular Smooth Echo lets you trigger an echo sound by using a pre-assigned fader or knob.
The OPUS-QUAD features plug-and-play compatibility for rekordbox Performance mode and Serato DJ Pro. All you need to do is connect your PC/Mac with either application (no license or subscription required). If you work with rekordbox, you can also connect to the rekordbox mobile app for iOS/Android.
Thanks to the large touch screen and the new song selector, you can now select songs faster. Also, with the zone output, you have the option of sending out sound independent of the master audio. This allows you to play different styles of music in different rooms with a single device. It is possible to connect a phone to the device via bluetooth to play quiet background music in the bar, while in the main room you have tracks playing from a USB device.
